Program
Departing from Budapest, in front of the hotel or from a discussed place at 9:00 am. Travelling with the oldtimer limousin, with private chauffeur on the road: Szentendre-Leányfalu-Visegrád. Getting familiar with the Hungarian river sailing, Queen Mary’s sunk treasures, Széchenyi’s works, the history of Danube steam boats and the Austrian-Hungarian navy’s history. Photo break at Visegrád, Tower Salamon. Optional lunch possibility in the Restaurant Nagyvillám, with the panorama of the Danube-bend. Travelling towards Neszmély, through Esztergom (photo break at the a Bazilika). Arrival to the Navy museum, see the different types of boats and visiting the former S.M.S. Leitha (now: Lajta Monitor). After the museum optional visit on the Hilltop Neszmély estate, in Kamocsay Ákos’s cellary and restaurant. Wine tasting and shopping possibility. Transfer through Tata on the motorway, arrival to the starting place around 18:00 pm.
